Alesha Anjanette Dixon (born 7 October 1978) is a British singer. After finding fame in the all-female trio Mis-Teeq, she is now a solo artist.

Her 2008 single "The Boy Does Nothing" was her first top ten solo hit on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 5 and spending over three months in the UK Top 40[2]. "The Boy Does Nothing" has also charted in other countries, reaching number 2 in France, Finland and Luxembourg; number 3 in Norway and Turkey; number 4 in Hungary, number 5 in Czech Republic; number 6 in Greece; number 7 in Sweden and Switzerland; and number 8 in Italy and Spain. Her second single from album The Alesha Show, "Breathe Slow", was her second solo top ten hit, charting at number three in the UK.

She took part in and was crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing in December 2007, beating actor Matt Di Angelo in the final.
